Carshalton

Outline

After years of neglect, this house had become a daunting sight, completely run down and in dire need of attention.
Originally built in the 1930s, this semi-detached property underwent a complete modernization, breathing new life into its aging structure.

Challenge

Taking over from previous contractors, we faced the challenge of working within a tight budget and meeting strict deadlines. In the process of rebuilding and extending the property, we unearthed a hidden gem—the garden adjacent to the local river which was entirely overgrown and obstructed from the river by large mature trees.
Removing these trees and reinforcing the riverbank, while preserving the integrity of the garden, and avoiding its encroachment into the river, was crucial.
