Our company was founded by an ambitious couple passionate about property development.
Following a negative experience with a contractor we hired to renovate our investment property, we decided to make a change.
As clients, we had placed equal importance on the competence of our contractors and the ability to closely monitor project progress and costs in real-time. Unfortunately, the latter proved challenging, leading to inefficiencies and unnecessary delays. In response, we took a bold step and formed our own small yet highly efficient team to take charge of the Carshalton project.
Three years on, our services have expanded beyond construction and refurbishment to include comprehensive property management solutions.

Julia – is the driving force behind Stim Developments. She swapped her HR career in the city to help people create their dream homes. Key to Julia’s success is her immense sense of self-discipline and her ability to employ the right people and provide them with opportunities for further professional development. As the Director of Stim Developments, she is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. Her key duties include managing teams, controlling budgets, setting timelines, and defining project scopes; ensuring full compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Julia holds an MSc in Organizational Psychology from London City University.
Alex has an extensive background in investment banking and is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 20 years of real estate exposure. His focus at the firm is on driving growth and fostering innovation. Alex holds an MBA from London Business School. He is also the founder and a trustee of a leading UK charity.
With over 30 years of experience and extensive knowledge in all aspects of residential construction, he is highly skilled at overseeing our teams, coordinating their work, and ensuring that our projects meet deadlines.
With over 25 years of experience under his belt, is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and scheduling site operatives. He ensures that all work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with the latest Building Regulations. He is also an expert in operating construction machinery.
With over 30 years of experience, Michael originally started his career as a carpenter, later expanding his expertise into professional interior decoration. Now highly experienced in all aspects of interior decorative work, he oversees our projects once they reach the internal works stage, including internal alterations and refurbishments.
